The library provides support to research activities of the Institute and also functions as a National Centre for Oil Palm Information storage, retrieval and dissemination. At present, the library has a collection of 1733 refer books, 400 bound volumes of both Indian and foreign journals in addition to Agri & Hort CDs, 5 theses, 75 project reports. The library is subscribing to 16 Foreign journals and 25 Indian journals. IIOPR library is also a member of CeRA (Consortium for e- Resources in Agriculture ) which is the best e-journal portal. Reprography services such as scanning and photocopying of resources were provided to clientele as well as to the visitors of Institute, on payment basis.
